What is the most enjoyable part of your work?
Building strategy for an anticipated dispute and achieving results without the need to start one.
What is most challenging in your work?
To adapt to bending the rules and causing delays in an otherwise simple proceeding. Over-regulation of matters.
What has been your proudest achievement?
Building up our firm’s dispute resolution arm, in the first years the firm was mainly focused on high end transactions, foreign investments and privatization. Being actively part in modernizing Estonian Bar Association through the years.
Which article or book would you recommend to the readers of the FAI newsletter?
The Master and Margaret by Mikhail Bulgakov. It is not getting old.
What is your favourite…?
Music: Vary over time, currently excited about Rita Ray.
Architecture: Farnsworth House by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. “Less is more” with no compromises.
Painting: Kaido Ole, Freaks series.
Movie: Spirited Away by Hayao Miyazaki. Greatest animation of all times.
Sport: Different watersports, table tennis.
