Miisa Happonen has joined the FAI team as a Case Manager in the FAI Specialisation Programme for Arbitration Lawyers.
As part of the FAI Specialisation Programme, Happonen will, in addition to case management work, further develop her expertise in arbitration with the institution experience. She will participate in the Finnish Arbitration Academy which will be organised starting in September 2021, as well as other national and international FAI events such as the HIAD2021.
Prior to joining the FAI, Miisa Happonen has been working as an associate at Roschier for three years. During her studies, Ms Happonen has participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot as a member of the University of Helsinki team. After her graduation, Ms Happonen has coached the team for two consecutive years. Ms Happonen speaks Finnish, professional English and Swedish.
”I have mostly worked with arbitration throughout my professional career and the latter part of my university studies. I have used the FAI services as a counsel, and now working at the FAI allows me to get a different perspective into the practice of arbitration both domestically and internationally”, Happonen says.
