How to Deliver Documents to the FAI

The FAI may be contacted via email, telephone, post and courier services. We recommend that parties contact us electronically and use secure email.

The Secretariat confirms receipt of documents and messages delivered to the FAI via email with a return email.

Delivering documents via email

Please deliver all documents to info@arbitration.fi. In case you deliver documents directly to a certain member of the FAI Secretariat, please copy in the above address to ensure undelayed receipt of the documents at the Secretariat.

Use of secure email

The FAI recommeds the use of secure email.

  • Visit address https://secure.arbitration.fi.
  • In order to send secure emails, please register to our secure email service, which is free of charge.
  • Please type your email address to the sender field (“Lähettäjä”) at the above address and click continue (“Jatka”).
  • A link will be sent to your registered email address. Via the link, you are able to type secure emails.
  • Add info@arbitration.fi and possible other recipient addresses to the recipient field. Add topic, message and possible attachments. Send the email.
  • Once the email has been sent, you are able to save it to your computer and print it.

Other functions of the secure email service:

  • Address book: Add a recipient address to your address book (for registered users).
  • Quit: Quit typing your message securely.
  • Signature: Sign the email and save your signature for future use (for registered users).
  • Question mark: Show user instructions.

Delivering documents via post

Please deliver the documents to the postal address of the FAI. The FAI recommends that arbitral awards and other confidential material be delivered via trackable mail or courier service.

Delivering documents via courier service or personally

Please deliver the documents to the reception of World Trade Center Helsinki. The reception is open on weekdays (excluding Finnish public holidays) at 9-16 Finnish time. If there is no staff present at the reception to receive your delivery, please do not leave documents to the reception desk.
