The FAI is taking part in the conference and also being the Media Partner of the 8th DIS Baltic Arbitration Days held in Riga, Latvia from Thursday 13th to Friday 14th of June 2019. The Arbitration Days will be held at the premises of the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
This year’s conference is devoted to Arbitration in Construction and Public Procurement Disputes and Current Events Regarding Brexit, EU and Investment Arbitration. The Focus Countries are Estonia, Finland, Russian Federation and Ukraine.

Young Arbitration Club Finland (YACF) and Club Español del Arbitraje (Nordic-Baltic Chapter) will organize a joint seminar gathering practitioners to discuss the topic of “Arbitration hearings – More than arguments and

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the award-winning LL.M in International Commercial Arbitration Law (ICAL) at Stockholm University, the ICAL Alumni Association will be holding an international arbitration conference in Stockholm on 7 November 2018. The conference will open another major arbitration event in Stockholm, the Global Oral Rounds of the Foreign Direct Investment Moot Competition on 8-11 November 2018, gathering arbitration practitioners from all over the world.

This autumn Minsk will host the annual Eastern European Dispute Resolution Forum (EEDRF) during 20-21 September 2018. The FAI is going to take part in the forum. The event is organized under the slogan «Know your expert». The FAI Secretary General, Ms. Heidi Merikalla-Teir, will be speaking in one of the plenary sessions of the forum.

The Nordic Legal Tech Day is organized by LegalWorks on 19th of September in Stockholm, Sweden. The FAI will take part in the event.
The Secretary General of the FAI, Ms Heidi Merikalla-Teir, will be speaking at the event regarding Legal Desing. The topic is very current for the FAI, since the FAI Arbitration Process Flowchart, that has been created together with Dottir Attorneys (parent of Dot. On 6–7 September 2018 the Swedish Arbitration Association will host its biennial international conference Swedish Arbitration Days. The event will take place at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm.
The Swedish Arbitration Days will focus on Advocacy in International Arbitration. Panels comprising some of the world’s most prominent international arbitration practitioners will discuss and share their experiences of advocacy at all stages of an arbitration. The FAI is also taking part in the conference.

The event “2018 Nordic Summit on Commercial Dispute Resolution in China”–a collaboration between the Beijing Arbitration Commission/Beijing International Arbitration Center, the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, the Danish Institute of Arbitration, the Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Institute of Oslo Chamber of Commerce and the FAI –will take place in Stockholm on 18 June 2018.
